WP9 is responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of the SwissChips project, including communication, finance, events, and general administration. WP9 is overseen by the Project Management Office (PMO) based at the Integrated Systems Laboratory of ETH Zurich. WP9 also supports WP1 with the distribution of funds for qualified external IC designs from Swiss universities and universities of applied science as well as support for the technical WPs 2-8.

A main focus of WP9 is to carry out dissemination of the SwissChips results and maximize outreach to Swiss stakeholders, including the Swiss semiconductor industry, as well as Swiss universities and universities of applied sciences. We maintain the SwissChips website providing an overview of SwissChips WPs and lead members. We help to disseminate our latest news and research breakthroughs, provide open-access to all SwissChips publications, and provide a platform to connect SwissChips talents (Ph.D. students, postdocs, and researchers) with the Swiss semiconductor industry.

A major outreach effort of WP9 is organizing an annual SwissChips event involving all major stakeholders in Switzerland, including the Swiss semiconductor industry as well as all Swiss universities and universities of applied sciences. The annual event will showcase SwissChips progress and output, and provide networking opportunities between SwissChips talents (including researchers from other Swiss universities and universities of applied sciences) and the Swiss semiconductor industry. The event program will also feature keynotes by top-tier international researchers and representatives from industry as well as providing the Swiss IC Design community opportunity to present their activities through presentations and/or posters in a high-visibility environment.  We are currently planning the first SwissChips event and will have more detailed info available soon.
