Andras Kas receives the 2024 IEEE Lotfi A. Zadeh Award for Emerging Technologies
Congratulations to Prof. Andras Kas on receiving the IEEE Lotfi A. Zadeh Award for Emerging Technologies “For pioneering work and breakthroughs on 2D materials and electronic devices.”

We'd like to congratulate Prof. Andras Kis on receiving the external page IEEE Lotfi A. Zadeh Award for Emerging Technologies “For pioneering work and breakthroughs on 2D materials and electronic devices.” His groundbreaking work on transistors constructed from 2D materials has had a profound impact on 2D materials for digital systems and opened an entirely new direction of research toward devices and circuits made of 2D materials other than graphene. His contributions have had a major impact on research in electronics, leading to entirely new research directions, with significant potential for future technologies and practical applications.
Andras Kis is a Professor of Electrical Engineering at EPFL and a SwissChips collaborator in WP8: Devices and Sensors.
