CSEM to Host the EPoSS Annual Forum 2025 in Neuchâtel - Spotlight on Smart Systems and Swiss Semiconductor Innovation

CSEM is pleased to announce it will host the EPoSS Annual Forum 2025, taking place from June 3–6 in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. Organized by the European Technology Platform on Smart Systems Integration (EPoSS), this yearly event brings together stakeholders from across industry, research, and policy to shape the future of intelligent, miniaturized, and networked electronic systems in Europe.

This year’s edition will open with a welcome address by Alexandre Pauchard, CEO of CSEM, setting the stage for three days of keynotes, panel discussions, and technical sessions on smart systems and semiconductor strategies.

The Swiss microelectronics landscape will be highlighted in a keynote presentation by Prof. Christoph Studer (ETH Zurich), titled "SwissChips: Fostering Chip-Design Research in Switzerland". His talk will emphasize the growing ecosystem of advanced circuit design in Switzerland, and how national initiatives like SwissChips are catalyzing academic–industrial collaboration.

Contributing to the strategic vision, Alain-Serge Porret, VP Integrated & Wireless Systems at CSEM, will present “Not the Bleeding Edge but the Smart Edge”. His talk will explore Switzerland and Europe’s role in the global semiconductor value chain, identifying both challenges and opportunities. In particular, he will outline CSEM’s positioning around low-power, integrated solutions for smart, autonomous, and wireless sensors, and how SwissChips plays a key role in reinforcing these capabilities.

As host, CSEM looks forward to welcoming experts and decision-makers from across Europe to Neuchâtel—a historic hub of Swiss precision and microelectronics. We are proud to support a forward-looking dialogue on resilient and smart semiconductor innovation, both within Switzerland and as part of a stronger European ecosystem.
